Stacy Yarbrough Hot Body - Going Freelance

Early in her interior design career, Stacy Yarbrough Hot Body decided the 8 to 5 workday was not for her. At the time, she was just a few years removed from college, and this time was important for her to establish her credentials as a skilled and hardworking professional. While it was an unpopular move at the time, it paid off years later when she was able to use her interior design talent to build an impressive reputation for herself while working independently.

While not many are able to experience the kind of success Stacy Yarbrough Hot Body has had since she decided to work on her own, a lot more people fear going into freelance work for a myriad of reasons. The most common reason is the fear of leaving behind a secure job and venturing into the unknown. To counter this, Stacy Yarbrough Hot Body acknowledges that being a freelancer is tough because you have to work hard to make a living, but it’s no different than being employed.

Often, people feel like they are not good enough to venture on their own. However, as Stacy Yarbrough Hot Body notes, if your skills are up to par, you will always be busy. The problem arises when people want to go freelance but are not suitably qualified to offer value. In such instances, Stacy advises that such people gather as much experience as they can, and when they feel confident about their skills, take the plunge into the world of freelancing.
